Paws & Cherish's Response and Commitment During COVID-19
There is no higher priority to our entire Paws & Cherish Family than the Safety of our Team Members and Customers. We are continuing to take steps to ensure we continue to serve you and support your essential pet aftercare needs as our Nation responds to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
Q: Will you continue to serve all veterinary clinics and hospitals?
A: Yes, we will continue to serve all veterinary clinics and hospitals. Our field service representatives are completing their services with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and are exercising ongoing critical personal hygiene best practices as identified by public health officials. They are prepared to modify their normal service routine at our customer’s clinics should procedures change for pick-up and delivery. If your veterinary clinic closes, then we will work closely with you to ensure families are connected directly with us for their aftercare needs. We are committed to supporting our veterinarians and families for all their needs throughout this evolving health situation.
Q: Is your care center running on normal schedules?
A: Yes, our care center is running on normal schedules. Due to the essential nature of our service, we will remain open and dedicated to supporting our partners and families. We have implemented enhanced personal protection and cleaning protocols at our facility. Even though the environment has changed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will continue to consistently provide the highest quality process and absolute integrity in the completion of our services.
Q: Are you open for witnessed cremations?
A: Yes, we are open for witnessed cremations. For families who want witnessed cremations, we are still servicing these needs, but with slight modifications including limiting time in our memorial room and requiring additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage while in our facilities. We are limiting the number of customers and gatherings for families in our care center at any one time in strict accordance with the CDC’s guidelines. We are also offering live video-streaming to serve families who want to witness the cremation of their beloved companion but cannot come in person or are not comfortable coming to our care center in person.
Q: How is your care center monitoring the situation?
A: Our care center continues to closely monitor the developing situation and risks of COVID-19. We are utilizing information provided from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and other state and local agencies, as well as collaborating with other businesses and organizations as they proactively address workforce and the general public’s needs. Most importantly, we are taking action based on the guidance provided from public health experts and will continue to do so.
